„Participators wanted!“ it says on a series of posters, designed by Raf Vancampenhoudt, to announce Kristof Van Gestel’s performances during the Antwerp Art Weekend of 2018. These performances took place in a transit zone, leading from Berchem to Zurenborg or the reverse and are part of „BRDG“, a constantly changing expo in this previously mentioned transit zone or bridge or even tunnel. The black&white posters start on the the outside and guide the passenger inside the ‚performance space‘.  On the „inside“ Kristof Van Gestel is present,  sitting behind a desk, inviting passengers for a conversation about the relationship, between the spectator or participant and the artist or performer. For a duration of 20 minutes this topic is addressed and starts of with the making of an ‚agreement‘, this paperwork serves as the documentation of the actual performance.
