In a baroque inspired typography, Yvon Tordoir colors Antwerp gold. In „Antwerpen“ the name of the city is applied to a centrally located building at the Eiermarkt. The letters are, as mentioned before, golden and „decorated“. Curly ornamentations are present in the 7 meters high letters, they are constructed out of ‚pillars‘. Abstract lines aim to give depth and shadow play to the composition. Confronted with the work the, as well, golden clock of the Cathedral is visual from the same point of vision. For Antwerp Baroque 2018, Tordoir invited 3 other Graffiti Artists, to present a motive from the baroque style hidden/exposed in their murals.
