Petra Noordkamp realized the photo series „Watching Men“ from 2003 to 2008. In 2005, the series was shown in Amsterdam on billboards. Her photographic view is aimed at men in different settings and cities. Secretly from the observer position she captures these moments: Three men leaning against a car in Marrakech (2003) or three men at the airfield at the Palermo airport, each one engrossed in his own thoughts (2005).
